Three Universal Parks Break into TripAdvisor's Best Theme Parks in the World List.
TripAdvisor’s Traveler’s Choice award winners have been revealed and it’s Universal taking home the big V. Voted on by TripAdvisor Travelers, our three domestic Universal Studios theme parks have claimed the 1st (Islands of Adventure), 3rd (Universal Studios Florida) and 6th (Universal Studios Hollywood) spots for top amusement parks in the world.
Winning the top spot is none other than Universal’s Islands of Adventure which has consistently been voted as the best amusement park for five years in a row. This unprecedented achievement should come as no surprise considering the recent expansions of the ever popular Wizarding World of Harry Potter with the Hogwarts Express and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. Now with a new rumored Jurassic World attraction coming to the Jurassic Park area of the park, it seems that Universal’s Islands of Adventure has no plans of losing momentum.
Coming in at third place is Universal Studios Florida which sees its’ highest placement ever on the list. This is also the first year that the park has been placed over its counterpart Universal Studios Hollywood which came in sixth place. Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and the French based Poy du Fou rounded out the top 5.
The success of Universal Parks and Resorts is growing rapidly and the guests are proving it with their votes. With Universal’s Epic Universe opening in the near future it will be interesting to see how the voting shakes out.
