Dates Announced for the 27th Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

Start planning for the 27th Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival at the Walt Disney World Resort, the dates have finally been announced. This picturesque festival includes flavorful foods, bountiful flower displays, and extraordinary topiaries (that will leave you wanting one for your own backyard). Starting March 4- June 1, 2020, guests from all around the world can enjoy this 90-day spring event! This is the longest running festival that Epcot hosts and has been designed to entertain everyone in the family. 

The Epcot Horticulture Team is already planning on a brand new topiary that will be introduced at the France Pavilion to honor the upcoming ride that is in the process of being built! Have any ideas? The new topiary will be of Linguini’s pal, REMY! This topiary will be situated as a centerpiece of the new Ratatouille Garden. The garden will be filled with all the delectable herbs and veggies that go into making this famous dish! No other news has been released about any more new topiary designs but some fan favorites will be returning like Elsa and Anna, Belle and Beast, Miss Piggy and Kermit, Snow White, Minnie, and Mickey!

What Will Be Back:

-The herbs and produce along the Outdoor Kitchens will be back where guests can learn and discover how to grow their own bountiful harvest full of healthy foods. 

-Scenic landscapes will surround Future World and World Showcase full of colorful plants and flowers along with Disney-crafed “flower towers”.

-Within the lakes of Future World east and west, floating floral islets can be found. 

-Play Garden and Family Play Zone will be back for the little ones to enjoy with siblings and friends.

-The very whimsical Goodness Garden Butterfly House presented by GoGoSqueez is back housing a wide variety of butterflies.

-Garden Rock series full of some fan-favorite artists.
