In a matter of weeks, the skies above Walt Disney World will be forever changed as the Disney Skyliner system takes flight above the resort for the first time. This new state-of-the-art gondola system will transport guests in unprecedented fashion to some of their favorite resort hotels, including Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and the all-new Disney’s Riviera Resort.

The gondolas will come in a variety of eight colors and feature a contemporary design to accentuate a feeling of flight. This design has also inspired the costumes that will be worn by cast members running the system.

The costumes will echo the Disney Skyliner color scheme and have been designed with mid-century modern elements that harken back to 1960’s air travel. They will also feature the signature “swoop” that can be seen on the sides of each gondola cabin. There will be unique costumes for both male and female cast members. Male costumes will be primarily tangerine in color, while female costumes will be primarily teal.
