First Look at 'Villainous!': The New Halloween Version of ' World of Color'

Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, begins Sept. 17th for 20 selected nights at Disney California Adventure Park. The Oogie Boogie Bash will take the place of Mickey's Halloween Party which used to be held in Disneyland Park. Disney has revealed a brand new spooktacular “World of Color” show- “Villainous!” which can only be seen at the Halloween party.

The Story

A Halloween tale told by Oogie Boogie (from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas), is centered around a young girl named Shelley Marie. Shelley Marie, was created by Disney animator Eric Goldberg for this all new tale of self discovery. 

In the show, Halloween is coming up and young Shelley is needing to make a decision about what costume she will wear for Halloween. Wanting to be strong and unique like her favorite Disney Villains, she is overwhelmed by self doubt, wondering if she could be their equal. During her deliberation, she is taken on an eventful journey meeting her favorite Disney villains like The Queen, Ursula, Dr. Facilier, Hades, and more! In the end, she realizes that, deep down, there’s a little villain in all of us.
