Seasonal Dessert Parties Sure to Delight the Whole Family at Walt Disney World

In addition to the wide variety of dessert parties already available at Walt Disney World, Disney is now sweetening the holidays by offering five seasonal dessert parties with select viewing areas for highly anticipated nighttime shows. 

Below is a guide highlighting the seasonal and non-seasonal dessert parties taking place across the four Florida parks and a few others on resort property.

Seasonal Parties in the Parks


Magic Kingdom Park 

Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace

On select nights through November 1, guests of the “Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party” can book a dessert party at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant to view the “Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular” over Cinderella Castle from the terrace or a prime viewing area in Plaza Garden. Party goers can gobble spooky treats at the buffet including creepy creations by a master pastry chef. Attendees of the Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing will be escorted to a reserved standing area in Plaza Garden before the fireworks show while guests of the Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace will stay and view the show from the terrace.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace

Starting November 8th, the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant will trade their ghoulish goodies for a merrier menu. Disney is offering two dessert parties at the “Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party” similar to their Halloween festivities with each party giving guests a different view of the “Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” show. The buffet will have a variety of themed treats and hot and cold beverages.

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Dessert Party

Feel like a part of Santa's Prep and Landing elite unit with the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Dessert Party which offers reserved viewing for two shows: “Wonderful World of Animation” and “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!”. Guests who partake in the party will dine along Echo Lake with views of the Christmas Tree and access to a special VIP character. The menu will include holiday-themed snacks and drinks, such as Yule log cake and Gingerbread martinis.

Non-seasonal Dessert Parties in the Parks

Epcot

Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth's 20-year run is coming to an end on September 30th. Take in one of the final performances from a special viewing area with the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase. Included is a buffet with Frozen themed fare and refreshments such as Elsa's Blue Velvet Cupcakes, Olaf's Warm Double Chocolate S'mores Pudding Cake, and Duke of Weselton's Cheese Fondue. Guests will also be escorted to the attraction "Frozen Ever After" following the show. 

Making reservations after September 30th? IllumiNations will be gone but you'll get a chance to see the new show "Epcot Forever", featuring fireworks (or course), lasers (a must), and choreographed kites (gasp!) over World Showcase Lagoon. 

Experience this party now through November 30, 2019 for $79 per adult and $47 per child (ages 3 to 9). Beginning December 1, 2019 prices will increase to $99 per adult and $59 per child (ages 3 to 9).

Magic Kingdom Park

Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace

There are three different dessert parties offered at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant, similar to some of the seasonal parties mentioned previously. All three parties have access to the same delicious buffet which includes character-themed sweets and savory snacks but the feast times, firework viewing areas, and (subsequently) prices vary. 

The more expensive Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace invites guests to dine before the show and provides terrace seating for a view of the fireworks while attendees of the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing are escorted to a reserved standing area in the Plaza Garden after eating. After-Fireworks Dessert Party shares the same viewing area in the Plaza Garden however reservation holders are invited to the buffet after the show.

Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party

Fans of the force, Light or Dark, can feast on a buffet out of this galaxy before viewing Wonderful World of Animation and the Star Wars themed fireworks show, “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular”, from a reserved area with the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party. Buffet offerings include blue milk custard, roasted red pepper flavored hummus, and an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Each guest will receive a souvenir stein.

Prices are currently $79 per adult and $45 per child (ages 3-9) now through December 31, 2019. Starting January 6, 2020, prices will increase to $89 per adult and $53 per child (ages 3-9).

Fantasmic! Dessert & VIP Viewing Experience

Don’t battle the crowds or waste valuable time holding a spot - with the Fantasmic! Dessert & VIP Viewing Experience, view one of Disney’s most iconic shows in reserved seating while munching on magical morsels including strawberries dipped in chocolate, cheese and crackers, and “worms and dirt” pudding for the kids. Guests also receive a specialty drink (alcoholic option available for guests 21 or older) in a souvenir cup. 

Prices are $39 per adult and $19 per child (ages 3 to 9).

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Rivers of Light: We Are One Dessert Party

Rivers of Light: We Are One Dessert Party offers guests exclusive access to the Rivers of Light Asia Viewing Area terrace and a buffet with assorted treats and drinks before the show along with a reserved viewing area.

Currently prices are $79 per adult and $47 per child (ages 3-9) now through January 31, 2020. Starting February 1, 2020, prices will increase to $89 per adult and $53 per child (ages 3-9).

Dessert Parties Outside the Parks

Additional dessert parties are offered at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Seven Seas Lagoon close to Magic Kingdom Park, with each party offering a cruise on the impressive man-made lake and a vivid view of the fireworks show over Cinderella Castle.

The Pirates & Pals Fireworks Dessert Voyage includes an opportunity to meet Captain Hook and Mr. Smee, treats and stories all buccaneers will savor, and a surprise visitor greeting you back on dry land! Prices are currently $76.44 per adult and $45.66 per child (ages 3-9) now through January 31, 2020. Starting February 1, 2020, prices will increase to $83.83 per adult and $49.87 per child (ages 3-9).

If you love sailing the water but pirate theming is a bit overboard for you, check out the Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise. This cruise treats guests to drinks and goodies sure to dazzle, a black light scavenger hunt for the kids, and special “Mickey Vision” glasses to enhance your fireworks show experience. Dates are available on the website through mid March with admission running $99 per adult and $69 per child (ages 3-9).
